Chewy Vuitton Trunk

Whether on the road or in bed asleep, our petite four legged friends always require the royal treatment.  Inspired by opulent antique steamer trunks, this luxury “puggage” provides all the essentials required for an extravagant lifestyle.  Adorned with a plus bed fit for king or queen, the distinctive design also provides an abundance of storage for an pup regalia.  The crimson velour interior veiled in an elegantly embellished ivory exterior evokes an image of the most decadent Red Velvet cake, of which even Marie Antoinette would be jealous.  So “let them eat cake” and live as royalty with the divine Victorian style of the “Chewy Vuitton Trunk”.

Knot-A-House

While retaining the iconic doghouse form, the build pushes a playful agenda with various types of interwoven rope.  Rope is commonly used for dog toys, is pet friendly, and lends its durability to playful dogs that may lay within this house.  The interwoven patterns help create an aesthetic sculptural feel to a piece meant for the interior of the home, creating a focal point within any room.

Temple of the Dog

Temple of the Dog is a shrine to our furry friends.  Taking inspiration from Japanese design and carpentry, this dog house also celebrates minimalism and simplicity using only wood and acrylic materials.  A cantilevered nook provides an elevated retreat for a teacup pup, accessible from a step that doubles as a drawer to store bones and toys for playtime!  Temple of the Dog is meant to remain indoors.

DOG-haus

Taking cues from the early 20th century Bauhaus graphic styles and functional simplicity, this cozy, yet open, airy dog-haus provides a cave-like sleeping area, integrated eating area, and a perching stoop for the sophisticated teacup pup. Constructed of parametrically-shaped layers of plywood, the shape of this dog-haus is a 3 dimensional sculpture of the word “DOG”. On the back elevation, the plywood layers form a legible graphic of the word DOG.  This DOG-haus unifies function, artistry and playfulness in a stylish design that every teacup pup and their human can enjoy.

It’s a fun, interactive piece that will encourage your pets to play and stay engaged with it’s various play elements such as tug of war, see-saw, and tunnel runs. Tug & Turf is comprised of a functional exterior and a soft, protected interior for dogs and cats alike. Soft edges of routed plywood are rounded for pet safety and create fun nooks and crannies for pets to rest, play and wait for you to come home.

The design intent of this dog home is to promote interactive play between one or more dogs while still serving as their personal home. The three main activities of play for dogs are running (tunnels), jumping/climbing (stairs), and chasing (fetch). This home has elements of all three with a big emphasis on the fetch part allowing the dog to play independently while the owner is away. The color scheme, form, material choice, and even the name are to be representative of the nature of “play” taking inspiration from Picasso.

It’s So Fetch

It’s So Fetch is a new innovative dog house that includes a built-in fetch toy and food/water bowl.  Allowing the maximum interaction with your dog and their favorite toy, the minimalist structure has a sleek appearance to flow with an outdoor space.  With an opening and closing hatch, It’s So Fetch provides a more spacious alternative for larger pets.
