Sploo Table

SplooTable is a place for pets and owners alike to relax and lounge around. Taking inspiration from the goofy positions we sometimes find our furry friends lying in, this coffee table “sploots” across the floor to create various open lounging surfaces around the exterior and a sheltered space within the interior. The undulating form of the coffee table drapes over the interior, lightly resting on the floor at its corners, while opening up along each face to create axes of circulation within the interior for pets to play or have secluded rest. The Lumicor resin top allows semi-transparency through to the pure form and natural materiality of the table’s base, adding a warm touch to any living room. The table brings further functionality with its pair of removable shelves that can be reconfigured in various positions around the table, allowing the user the flexibility to create a more open or closed-off interior for their pets.
