Read & Re-TREE-ve
Deep in the forest of a child’s imagination, this enchanting book nook creates a warm and cozy spot for both dog and child alike encouraging meaningful connections and blending the whimsical world of fantasy! The exterior of the nook is a playful interpretation of a tree stump, crafted with intricate layers of sculpted wood and natural cavities that allow soft, ambient light to filter through—creating the perfect atmosphere for reading and relaxation. At its heart, the interior boasts a plush, grassy green cushion, designed not only for comfort but also for practicality (upholstered in high-performance fabric from Wolf Gordon, and sewn by Melba Brawley). The inside, carved shelves are cleverly recessed into the structure of the stump, offering space to display beloved books, dog essentials, and treasured trinkets. While primarily designed to offer a serene space for connectivity between child and dog, the book nook also caters to the needs of parents or guardians with its solid surface top (crafted from Wilsonart material and fabricated by Kemna Tile) that doubles as a sturdy side table.
