Green Dreams

Following the sleeping and lounging patterns of our locally sourced pup, Green Dreams accentuates a dog’s different methods of rest, relaxation and observation.  The structural sines made of cedar descend and splay out towards the rear, widening the covered space and allowing the dog to easily curl up for a nap.  The slope of the asymmetrical roof continues to provide aid not only to the dog itself, but also for making sure none of the already scarce rainwater goes to waste, allowing it to flow directly into its planters.  The opportunity for planting greenery has been provided for its aesthetic value along with a natural filtering/cooling of the doghouse, creating a comfortable and tranquil space for all dogs seeks an escape from the Texas heat.
