Felix Helix
Cat Condo
Awarded to designs that embrace the active, agile and curious nature of cats.
Twisting, turning, wrapping, wreathing; a cat at rest is a cat in motion. The Felix Helix recalls the fluid, languid shapes of a happy feline in a comfortable environment. Three helical molded plywood fins gracefully encircle four rotating wood platforms, with holes for access and play, with leave-outs for removable fabric inserts. The dynamic, sculptural form and warm material palette allow the Felix Helix to fit in perfectly in any contemporary home setting.
