POOCH POUF

This design addresses the daily life of the dog and owner by combining their varying needs into one functional piece of future with contemporary sensibility. The design takes inspiration from “karunda” style dog beds. Karunda style beds relieve pressure and pain from canine joints by suspending them above the floor. Special attention was paid to the composition of durable materials, scale of spaces, and the type of connections to prevent potential entanglement and pinching. Every day interactions like putting on shoes for the dog park, napping on Sunday afternoons, or setting down a briefcase for a weekday welcome home are well-suited for this piece.
