Presented as the overall winner of the Bark+Build doghouse design/build competition and the overall jurors' favorite. This entry epitomizes the best overall design and construction detailing in the pack.
Our design centers on the principles of passive cooling and daylighting, using cross ventilation to ensure a consistently cool and pleasant interior climate. By integrating translucent materials, we balance light entry with protection against rain and UV rays, creating harmonious and versatile interior spaces. Through these methods this doghouse looks to evoke not only our passion for sustainable design but also the best quality of life for our Fur-ever Friends.
